When I try to drag an album of photos from the Photos app to my Dropbox, nothing happens.Īpple of course, wants you to use nothing but Apple products. I want to put some photos into Dropbox to share with others, but I can’t figure out how to do that from the Photos app. When I do the same on the Mac, I don’t see the photos in the Finder window under Pictures, I can only see them in the Photos app. On the PC when I plugged in my camera, all my photos got put into My Pictures. Blurb’s BookWright could be a good choice for amateur photographers or anyone looking to print a series of books.Hi Chris, I recently switched from Windows to a Mac. We also liked that Blurb allows you to upload a PDF to create your book, and that it offers plug-ins for Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. BookWright reminded us a great deal of Photoshop or InDesign, so if you’ve used those programs before, you may be familiar with the added controls. On the other hand, BookWright, the downloadable software, offers a huge range of design options, including layouts and fonts, with very little glitching (but still no spell-check). We couldn’t paste text into the box without receiving an error message this was especially frustrating because Bookify does not offer spell-check. We also experienced major glitches with captions. We were disappointed with the options available in Bookify there were very few layouts, and they had too much white space for our liking. We made two books with Blurb-one with its web-based software Bookify and another with its downloadable software BookWright. We didn’t make this option a requirement, but we gave extra points if a service offered it. Though layflat spreads sound fancy, they’re a common offering from photo-book services and a worthwhile upgrade in photography or wedding books.
